This beautiful 6-bedroom St Thomas Villa Rentals is perched on a cliff overlooking the expanse of the Caribbean. Just offshore you will see Hans Lollick Island. Annually, during February and March, whales commute thru this channel! It is possible to see Sea Turtles and a “resident” 6 foot barracuda swimming gracefully in the rocks below. When the seas are a little rough the water flows into a ravine below and the water sprays dramatically up into the air.

Ask anyone that looks like they are from “state-side” how they ended up in St Thomas Villas, and the reply is usually the same. “I came to visit and never left” or  “I came to visit, went home, packed up and came back”. Our story is similar but different.

St Thomas Villas was a 8-hour stop on our cruise 5 years ago. We took the overpriced “island tour” excursion from the boat. It started out scary actually. We were not used to cliffs and mountains and driving in an open “taxi” with no seatbelts! There are no cliffs in Florida – we have a few hills, but mountains, they are not! On the last portion of the tour the driver dropped us off at Sapphire beach. He suggested that we get a cocktail and enjoy the view. We took one step onto their patio on the ocean and we were “gonners”!!! And we knew it right that very minute! Our hearts were stolen! We didn’t have time for a cocktail we ran with our cameras snapping wildly.

I think we took about 30 pictures in that 15 minute stop. Our friend actually won a photo competition with one of the shots she took during that 15 minute memory.

Well….we knew we had to be a part of it. We have bought and sold a few different properties since then. Our wondering stopped when we met OceanCliff St Thomas Vacation Villa. It had great “bones” and it needed some love. The views from this St Thomas Villas were NEVER in question. I will put its views up against any other views on the island. Since we have owned Oceancliff we have been there alone and it was a peaceful, romantic retreat; we have been there with 8 friends for a adult-only 3 anniversaries celebration and we have been with 3 family generations. Each time, our St. Thomas Villas “fit the bill” perfectly. Each time it created new amazing memories for our family and friends. One of our favorite “oddities” about the villa is you feel like you are alone – unless you want to be with everyone in the Great Room.
